A Day of Hope

Delivering  hope and encouragement to families in Northern California.
Fundraisers & Volunteer
In the month of November, we will be in need of many volunteers. Please consider volunteering for one of the events below.

All of the following events will take place at Enclave Community Church at 581 E. Canal Dr., Turlock, CA 95381.
  • Saturdays, Nov 7th & 14th, 8am-5pm: Volunteers will be need to help distribute grocery bags to homes in Turlock for A Day of Hope's Charity Food Bag Drop. These bags have a flyer on them instructing home owners to put food they would like to donate to A Day of Hope in the bag for us to pick up the next day.
  • Sunday, Nov 8th & 15th, 12pm-5pm: Volunteers will be needed to help collect grocery bags filled with food that have been donated from local homes in Turlock. This is the final element of A Day of Hope's Charity Food Bag Drop.
  • Friday, Nov 20th, 4pm-9pm: Volunteers will be needed to help take inventory of the food we have already collected. Once inventory has been taken, we will need to determine what food needs to be purchased.
  • Saturday, Nov 21st: 11am-5pm: Volunteers will be needed to help box food and prepare for food basket delivery day on Nov 22nd. Volunteers will also help to prepare maps for volunteers who will be delivering baskets of food and turkeys to families.
  • Sunday, Nov 22nd, 12pm: Volunteers will be needed to deliver the baskets of food and turkeys to needy families.
The work A Day of Hope does is only possible thanks to the generous support of our volunteers. So if you are able to volunteer, please contact Christopher Scott at christopher@adayofhope.org or 209.304.4291 with the date(s) and time(s) you can help.
